Mungkin, itu hal terkahir yang bisa ia lakukan sebagai bakti kepada orang tuanya.
Melansir Mirror (18/1/2019), Saroj setidaknya harus menempuh jarak 5 km untuk sampai ke tempat tujuannya untuk memakamkan sang ibu.
Ia terpaksa melakukan hal itu sendirian karena para tetangganya menolak membantunya.
Saroj membawa jenazah ibunya yang terbaring di sepeda dengan hanya ditutup kain ke hutan.



Ia juga yang menggali lubang kubur ibunya sendiri lantas menguburkannya.
Saroj sekarang menjadi yatim piatu.
Ayahnya telah lebih dulu meninggal ketika usianya tujuh tahun.
Ia telah meminta bantuan tetangganya di daerah Karlabahali, Odisha, India, setekah ibunya yang berusia 45 tahun pingsan dan meninggal saat berjalan mencari air.

4. Sudra
