Jaffar (39) warga Sampang, Madura tidak menyesal telah membunuh Muhammad Mulla (34) yang telah menghamili istrinya.

Padahal ia terancam dihukum seumur hidup.

“Tidak menyesal. Saya puas hati. Siap tanggung jawab (mejalani hukuman),” kata Jaffar kepada polisi saat rilis via Zoom di Mapolres Gresik, Selasa (14/4/2020).



Saat ditanya oleh Kapolres Gresik AKBP Kusworo Wibowo mengenai alasannya kabur, ia mengaku punya niat baik untuk menyerahkan diri.

Namun banyak orang yang memintanya bersembunyi.

“Kabur dulu. Mau menyerahkan diri tapi banyak yang menghalau saya,” terang Jaffar.

Di hadapan polisi, Jaffar mengakui bahwa dirinya yang menyiapkan tali tambang untuk menjerat leher korban.

Sedangkan dua mobil yang digunakan untuk mengeksekusi korban disiapkan tersangka lain.

“Saya yang menyiapkan (tali ). Yang mobil, lain,” sambungnya.

Jaffar juga mengakui, selama menjadi TKI di Malaysia pernah ditahan oleh polisi selama tiga bulan. Sebab, paspor yang digunakan palsu.

“Ditahan di Malaysia tiga bulan masalah paspor,” lanjut Jaffar.



Pembunuhan terhadap korban dilakukan lantaran Jaffar yang saat itu pulang dari Malaysia melihat istrinya hamil oleh Mulla.

Ia membunuh korban dengan melibatkan sejumlah orang pada 28 Desember 2019. Salah satunya Sugianto.

Rencana pertama, Sugiyanto berpura-pura mengajak korban bersembunyi menghindari kejaran Jaffar. Dari Sampang, mereka menuju Gresik.

“Mobil lalu masuk tol kemudian korban disuruh pindah ke mobil Avanza warna hitam. Di dalam mobil ada lima pelaku lain. Korban yang awalnya diajak bicara baik-baik tiba-tiba dijerat dengan tali tampar warna biru. Korban tercekik hingga tewas,” ungkap Kapolres Kusworo.

“Kemudian jenazahanya dibuang di Exit Tol Kebomas KM 16,” pungkas Kusworo.

Menurutnya, tersangka Jaffar terancam Pasal 340 KUHP tentang pembunuhan berencana. Dengan acaman hukuman seumur hidup.
