Kaki mulai membengkak

Pada masa yang sama, kaki Jarrod mulai membengkak tiga kali lebih besar daripada biasa dan doktor mengesahkan kakinya punca jangkitan.

Atas sebab itu, doktor terpaksa melakukan banyak pembedahan di kakinya namun selepas melihat keadannya semakin baik, Jarrod dibenarkan keluar dari ICU.

Disebabkan otot dan tisu telah rosak di bahagian kaki, jadi Jarrod terpaksa belajar untuk berjalan semula. Bahkan keadaannya sangat lemah pada mulanya kerana sukar angkat leher semasa berada atas katil.
